Schedule and Team Issues *Important!*

Hello everyone!
The coaches had a meeting with the girls tonight after practice, and (while we trust they will share what we talked about), wanted to get it into writing for all the parents who didn't happen to be there. Hang in there - it's long, but all important.
1.) The coaches have chosen to divide the girls up into two main teams - Blue and Gold. These divisions have been based on experience, age, and ability. Attached is the roster, with the teams divided - if you have any questions at all about which team(s) your daughter is on, please discuss it with the coaches. If your daughters have questions, encourage them to speak with the coaches about it, and not to the other girls.
2.) You will notice a "Junior High" team, in addition to the two main teams. This "Junior High" team is determined by age only (14 and under), and will be the team that plays in the Lebanon JH tournament, January 23-24th.
3.) We have assigned specific games to each team - please take careful note of which team your daughter is on, and therefore which games she needs to go to. The google calendar, as posted on the RHAA website, has been updated - each game now has either a "Gold" or "Blue" after it. Here is the direct link. http://www.rollaroyals.org/basketball-3/girls-basketball-team/girl . All the practices are still for all the players.
4.) This Thursday:
The coaches would like the Gold team to go down to Springfield for the game. Remember, the other girls are welcome to come along and support the team, but should not come expecting or prepared to play. The plan is to leave from Kroger at 4:00 pm. Our family is not going at that time and will not be able to give anyone a ride - if your daughter needs a ride, contact Coach Applegate.
5.) Remember that there is a Friday practice scheduled for this week. It will be from 7-9 pm at the Rolla Middle School.
Once again, thank you all for your flexibility - I know that this schedule stuff can be crazy, but you have all been wonderfully understanding. As always, feel free to ask if you are uncertain about anything. We try to keep the google calendar on the website up-to-date. Keep in mind that it will usually be more current than the schedules we e-mail to you.
Thanks,
